Skiing
Italy is a mountainous country and, in the winter, that provides for plenty of opportunities to go skiing or snow boarding. The ski resorts in the alpine areas of Italy are justifiably famous, but there are other mountains throughout Italy that also cater to those interested in going skiing away from the usual crowds.
Sailing
Italy has one of the most attractive coastlines in the world and what better way to enjoy it than under sail?
